Tried and True Bath Salts This is a super easy way to use essential oils and also help give your body some magnesium! We like the magnesium flakes (less processed), but epsom salts will work as well.

  • 1 cup magnesium flakes
  • 20 drops essential oils of choice (Lavender, Frankincense, Peace & Calming, Tangerine, Valor)
  • Simply add oils to magnesium and mix well. To use run hot water into the container of salts and let it overflow into the tub! Note: for acute needs where we are using immune supporting oils or wanting to soothe tension we will use more drops of EO. Use your discretion and do what works for you.

Dry Skin Bath Soak This is one of our winter time go-tos. Adding oatmeal to the bath is helpful for more acute skin needs, especially for children. Think conventional oat baths but without the fragrance!

DIY Goat Milk Soap This soap is incredibly nourishing to the skin and the oils can be customized to whatever you want or need.

  • 2lb melt and pour soap base
  • ½ cup powdered goat milk
  • 2 Tbsp organic raw honey
  • 1 Tbsp sweet almond oil
  • 60 drops essential oils (Frankincense, Sandalwood, Northern Lights Black Spruce, Tangerine, Lavender, Patchouli, Valor, Peace & Calming - alone or in some combo)
  • Soap molds Chop soap base into cubes and melt using a double boiler. Whisk in all remaining ingredients and pour into soap molds. Option to add dried flowers. Let sit overnight.

Soothing ACV Bath Soak This one is incredible for both the skin and for joints! An ACV soak with magnesium is a great way to support active lifestyles.

Floral Sugar Scrub This one is a favorite and makes a lovely gift.

Creamsicle Body Polish This one is fun and festive and makes a great gift!

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp Vitamin E oil
  • 5 drops each Vanilla, Tangerine, Grapefruit Combine all ingredients in a metal or glass container, use in the shower to exfoliate & moisturize!

DIY Bath Jellies Add some jiggly fun to your bathtime with this simple DIY!

  • Natural food coloring
  • 10-15 drops essential oils (Bergamot, Orange, Lavender)
  • Silicone mold
  • 1 teaspoon unsweetened, unflavored gelatin
  • ¾ cup distilled water
  • ½ cup YL Bath & Shower Gel Base
  • Rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle Mix the water and gelatin in a heat-safe bowl or pot and bring to a boil. Add the liquid soap and stir until incorporated. Add 1-2 drops of natural coloring and essential oil. Pour the mixture into silicone molds. If bubbles form on the top of the liquid, spray with isopropyl alcohol to smooth the surface. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours. Add water and lather up! Store jellies in the refrigerator when not in use to prevent them from melting and losing their shape

DIY Scented Sachets Bring a fresh, spa-inspired aroma to any area of your home.

  1. In a medium bowl, mix rice, Epsom salt, flower buds, and essential oil to thoroughly scent the mixture.
  2. Spoon mixture into your muslin pouch.
  3. Place anywhere you want to add a fresh lavender scent.
  4. Refresh your pouch every 2-3 weeks by opening it up and adding more drops of essential oil
